1. Who we are

Dispensory.com is operated by Agape Goods, LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Dispensory ("Dispensory," "we," "us," or "our"). Privacy contact: hello@dispensory.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you add a dispensary, submit a deal, claim a dispensary or brand page, or email us, you may give us:

  • Name, email address and phone number
  • Job title or role
  • Business or dispensary name and business website
  • Dispensary listing details, deal submissions and page claim information
  • Messages and other communications you send us

Information collected automatically. When you visit, we and our analytics tools may collect:

  • IP address, browser type, device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed, referring pages, links clicked and deals clicked
  • Date and time of visits
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address
  • Other analytics and site interaction information

Location information. We use location in three ways:

  • Approximate location from your IP address: when you first visit without a saved location, we may estimate your general location from your IP address using ipapi.co. ipapi.co receives your IP address as part of the request and returns approximate geographic information, which we use to show nearby dispensaries, deals and other local results.
  • Device location: you can choose to share your browser or device location. This needs your permission, and we never access it otherwise. If you allow it, we receive latitude and longitude coordinates, which can be more precise than IP-based location, and use them to find nearby dispensaries and deals.
  • ZIP code: you can type in a ZIP code. To turn it into a location, the ZIP code you enter is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service.

Whichever way it's obtained, your location may be saved in your browser's storage so the site remembers it. To find nearby results, coordinates are sent to the database service that powers Dispensory. We don't attach your coordinates to an account or to the deal-click identifier described below.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies, local storage, analytics technologies, affiliate attribution technologies and similar website technologies. See our Cookie Policy.

4. How we use information

  • Operate Dispensory and display dispensaries and deals
  • Personalize and sort results based on location
  • Process submissions and listing claims, and verify listings
  • Respond to communications
  • Maintain and improve site functionality and user experience
  • Measure site traffic and performance, understand how visitors use Dispensory, and analyze clicks on deals and listings
  • Prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and protect site security
  • Maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

5. Analytics and tracking

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It may process pages viewed, site interactions, links and deals clicked, browser and device information, referral information, approximate location information from Google's analytics systems, and Google Analytics identifiers. When you open or follow a deal, we send an event to Google Analytics with the deal name, dispensary, brand, deal type and city. We do not send your device coordinates to Google Analytics.

Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager to manage the site's measurement technologies, and Google Analytics is deployed through it. Google Tag Manager itself is not an analytics database.

Deal-click measurement. When you open a deal or follow a deal or listing link, we record the deal or listing involved, the dispensary, the time, a random browser identifier and your browser's user-agent information. The random identifier is kept in your browser and replaced with a new one after about 90 days. We use this to understand which deals are useful, measure engagement, improve listings, analyze site performance and prevent abuse where applicable.

Third-party technologies on the site may process information under their own privacy practices.

6. Affiliate links and third-party websites

  • Some links on Dispensory are affiliate links, including links to Charlotte's Web through the Impact affiliate network. We may receive compensation when you complete qualifying purchases or actions after following these links.
  • No affiliate tracking runs on Dispensory itself. Tracking begins when you follow an affiliate link; the affiliate network or merchant may then use cookies or similar technologies to attribute the referral.
  • Once you leave Dispensory, the destination website's privacy policy and terms apply. We don't control the privacy practices of third-party websites.

7. How we disclose information

Forms. Information you submit through Submit a Deal, Add a Dispensary or Claim a Page (such as name, email, phone number, role, company or dispensary details, website, messages, deal or listing details and anything else you choose to include) is stored by Dispensory and processed by the service providers needed to complete your request. Resend processes the information needed to send confirmation and administrative emails.

Service providers. Each provider receives only what it needs for its role:

  • Lovable (hosting and cloud infrastructure): hosts the site and stores site data, form submissions and deal-click records.
  • Cloudflare: network delivery and bot/security protection.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: site measurement, as described above.
  • ipapi.co: receives your IP address to return an approximate location.
  • OpenStreetMap Nominatim: receives a ZIP code you enter to look up its location.
  • Resend: sends confirmation and administrative emails.
  • Impact and affiliate merchants: receive referral information when you follow an affiliate link.

We may also disclose information to:

  • Professional advisers, where necessary
  • Government agencies or legal authorities, when legally required
  • Buyers, successors or advisers involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring or sale of the business

8. Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell personal information for money.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including operating and improving Dispensory, maintaining business and legal records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and abuse, and complying with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete or anonymize it.

10. Your privacy choices

  • Decline browser or device location permission
  • Change or revoke location permission in your browser or device settings
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings
  • Exercise applicable privacy rights by emailing hello@dispensory.com

11. California and other U.S. privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to us, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Where applicable, these may include the right to:

  • Know or access personal information
  • Request deletion
  • Request correction
  • Opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information
  • Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights

Send requests to hello@dispensory.com. We may need to verify a request before fulfilling it, and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law.

12. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

"Do Not Track" (DNT) is an older browser setting with no common industry standard. Dispensory does not currently use DNT signals to change how the site behaves.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a different, browser-based privacy preference signal that certain jurisdictions recognize as an opt-out request. We may update our practices regarding such signals as legal requirements apply to us.

13. Children

Dispensory is intended only for adults age 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 21, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. To report this, email hello@dispensory.com.

14. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission, website or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. Third-party websites

Dispensory links to third-party websites, including dispensaries, marketplaces, retailers, brands and other external services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
